Sponsor AXA Foundation
Background The AXA Foundation awards over $1.3 million nationally each year in scholarships through their AXA Achievementssm Scholarship. This year, in partnership with the National Academy Foundation (NAF), AXA will be providing an exclusive opportunity for five NAF Academy students to win a $5,000 scholarship and to be recognized as an AXA Achiever.

AXA/ NAF Achievers will be selected through a competitive application process and will exhibit the following qualities:
  • Ambition and drive
  • Determination to set and reach goals
  • Respect for self, family and community
  • Ability to succeed in college

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated outstanding achievements in their activities in school, the community or workplace and will describe how their Academy experience influenced those achievements.

Eligible students are encouraged to apply for all AXA-sponsored scholarships, but a student may only receive one AXA-sponsored scholarship.
Awards Five (5) one-time $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating NAF Academy seniors.

This educational award must be applied toward study at the educational institutions of the students choosing, including: a two- or four-year college or university; or an accredited vocational-technical college or university.
Administration AXA Achievementsm/ National Academy Foundation Scholarships must be used for education-related expenses for undergraduate study only. Awards are not renewable; however, recipients may arrange to receive payment in installments over multiple years as long as the student continues to enroll in an undergraduate course of study.

Selection of recipients will be made by NAF, using a review panel of select staff and alumni. The AXA Foundation may participate in the selection of final award recipients. Finalists will be chosen based upon the above criteria and the quality of the application submitted. Selection will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, gender, national origin or disability. Consideration will be given to select a diverse group of recipients.
