The Academy of Information Technology requires that each student completes a paid internship the summer between the students junior and senior year. This allows students to develop workplace skills and expand the knowledge they have gained in the classroom.

I had the opportunity to work at Alpheon in Morrisville, North Carolina as an Intern. Alpheon is a network management company that aids small businesses that require a network, but do not need an entire IT department.
