Challenges
Even with the evidence in support of career academies, and the rapid growth of career academies nationwide, there are good reasons to be cautious in starting an academy. Often, enthusiasm for the approach overshadows difficulties in launching the program. It is important to note that career academies are not a panacea for all the problems of high school. They should be approached cautiously, and if attempted, implemented carefully and thoroughly.
