Announcing the Winners of the 2007 Internship Stories Competition
The National Academy Foundation thanks all of the students who took the time to create outstanding Internship Stories which included essays, photos, videos, Web sites and PowerPoint presentations reflecting on their National Academy Foundation internship experience. NAF also thanks the Directors and teachers for helping to get the word out to all of their students and for their continuing support to our youth.
This year, out of about 130 entrants, we have selected the following winners:
Britney Rider from the Chapel Hill AOIT in Carrboro, NC;
Cynthia Mondragon from the School of Business and Management AOHT in Dallas, TX; and
Neil Kelty from the Carroll AOF in Fort Wayne, IN.
NAF is excited to award each of them a $2000 scholarship towards college. Congratulations!
About the 2007 Internship Stories Competition
NAF wants Academy students to tell us the real deal about their internship experience! NAF would like to hear what students have learned and can take with them as they head toward college or a career. Whether you were excited, disappointed, intrigued or just plain glad that you made it through, share your unique story for the chance to win one of three $2,000 scholarships.
